Art Basel Miami Beach was the venue for the third Gender, Wars and Chadors talk on Contemporary Middle Eastern Art, organised by Canvas magazine. The lively debate took place at Art Salon, 6 December 2009 and brought together key artists Ghada Amer, Kader Attia and Akram Zaatari and was chaired by Hans Ulrich Obrist, Co- Director, Exhibitions and Programmes and Director of International Projects, Serpentine Gallery, London.
