UNDERSTANDING CONTEMPORARY ART  
Explore the foundations of art and gain insight into the Contemporary art world. The Post-War period (1945-70) is recognised as one of the most creative resurgences of the 20th century, spanning movements from Abstract Expressionism in the 1940s to art themes in the 1990s.
  
Day 1, Saturday 29 January: Explore the art world, its key players, market and understand how it functions. This course will also include a short overview on the definition of 'art'.
